Anabella Wiscovitch is an environmental scientist and GIS analyst specializing in climate justice and geospatial storytelling. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Climate Science and Environmental Studies from Stony Brook University and has professional experience managing environmental permitting operations with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as well as supporting regional environmental justice initiatives.
As a geospatial analyst with the Climate Knowledge Collective, Anabella examines the intersections of climate change, gender, and community resilience. Her work includes analyzing oral histories of women on the frontlines of climate change and using ArcGIS to translate their stories into maps and visual narratives that highlight the connections between climate, gender, and place. She is particularly interested in how data, mapping, and storytelling can amplify lived experiences, communicate environmental challenges, and support greater understanding of climate justice and community resilience.
